Electrical Design Engineer I

Supporting the delivery of electrical engineering design services for renewable energy and substation projects, the full-time Electrical Design Engineer I will create electrical plans and calculations, perform design tasks under supervision, and ensure compliance with safety standards while working remotely. Key responsibilities Create electrical engineering plans, details, and calculations for renewable energy projects Perform design tasks on small projects or portions of larger projects, including producing design drawings Ensure compliance with safety standards and work under the direction of more senior staff Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field with extensive electrical coursework Some prior experience in designing and drafting using AutoCAD Familiarity with the NEC and understanding of relevant codes and standards Ability to identify and solve complex problems Detail-oriented with efficient time management skills
