Welder/PipefitterNikkiso Fueling & Solutions designs and constructs alternative fuel stations for fuels such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), compressed natural gas (CNG) and hydrogen (H2). Typical projects involve reinforced concrete mat foundations, installation of 45 ft. vertical or horizontal storage vessels, cryogenic and high pressure systems, ASME B31.3 pipe welding, process system installation, and hazardous area (CL 1 Div. 1 & 2 Group B or D) electrical work. We have an immediate need for an experienced Welder/Pipefitter to work on our requirements in the rapidly growing alternative fuel market. Our projects are typically design/build projects. We self-perform all engineering and specialty construction. Because we have a reputation of getting the job done, we are requested to do unique, one of a kind projects.Salary Range:$20.41 To $32.83 per Hour Applicants will be required to take a welding testResponsibilitiesStainless tube (1/4" – 3/4") installationStainless and carbon steel threaded pipe (1/2" - 2")Stainless and carbon steel welded pipe per ASME B31.3Pipe support and process skid installationGTAW and GMAW in 6G positionRead blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and proceduresDetermine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirementsSet up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be weldedAlign components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp piecesWeld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gapsTest and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flawsMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyQualificationsGraduate of high school or GEDTrade school and welding certificate preferredSatisfy pre-employment and random drug screening tests5 + years of welding experience, preferably in stainless steel and carbon steel piping/pressure vesselsAbility to pass NDT on weld performed in 6G positionComplete understanding of blueprints and ability to work from written and verbal instructionDemonstrated ability to perform the job in a highly capable manner with minimum supervisionThorough experience using a wide variety of hand tools and capable of fitting and setting up details required for fabricated assembliesKnowledge of basic computer operationEEOC StatementEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Nikkiso CE&IG is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
