Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room setting across a 10-OR unit
• Support and assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures requiring specialized CVOR competencies
• Collaborate with surgical teams including RNs and Surgical Technologists across day shift operations
• Fulfill on-call obligations, including 15+ days of call per contract period for CVOR coverage
• Participate in holiday call rotation as required by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Texas)
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
• PeriOp 101 completion required
• Orthopedic and trauma experience required — candidates without these skills will not be considered
• Ability to fulfill on-call and holiday shift requirements as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma center operating room environment
• Strong adaptability and ability to work effectively within a fast-paced surgical team
