About the Position

Job Title

Travel CT Tech / Radiology Tech – Freestanding Emergency Department

Location

Chesterfield, VA | Freestanding Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | Friday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and general X-ray imaging in a high-acuity, 12-bed freestanding emergency department setting
• Operate GE Optima CT scanner and GE portable X-ray equipment independently, often as single-staff coverage for both modalities
• Support an average daily volume of 80+ patients, with 100+ patients during winter surge periods
• Document imaging studies using Meditech and Sectra systems
• Assist with acute stroke imaging protocols in an Acute Stroke Ready certified facility with moderate pediatric volume
• Maintain professional, patient-centered care in alignment with a high patient experience culture (above 80th percentile scores)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Active Virginia state license or compact licensure — required at time of submission
• ARRT certification required
• ARRT-CT certification required
• CPR certification required
• Ability to work independently and provide dual-modality coverage (CT and X-ray)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with acute stroke imaging protocols
• Comfort working with pediatric patients in an emergency department environment
• Familiarity with Meditech and/or Sectra documentation systems
• Prior travel or high-volume ER experience
