Inventory Control Clerk

Inventory Control Clerk Surestaff is immediately hiring Inventory Control Clerk for a large, well-known client in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Responsible for assisting in maintaining accurate inventory records for all Finished Goods. This is achieved through periodic physical inventories, cycle counting, manual counting, adjustments and working with other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies. Also processes the receipts of inventoried items and non-inventoried supplies from outside suppliers in absence of receiving clerk. Surestaff is invested in their team members! Shifts available: 1st Shift - 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM *pay increase after 30 days on assignment* Responsibilities of the Inventory Control Clerk: Daily stocktaking, which includes physical counting, auditing, reconciliations delegated by the Senior Inventory Control Analyst Checks negative locations provided by the Senior Inventory Control Analyst and aids in corrections Collects and processes location discrepancy sheets on a daily basis Monitors bulk location and stages for regrind or destroyed product and makes the necessary adjustments Monitors the purchasing and Factory Transfer locations to eliminate false positive inventory records of products caused by wrong scans or incomplete reporting of product conversions Maintains integrity of Receiving area Actively participates in annual physical inventories by assisting with planning, scheduling, training, and execution Performs cycle counting of all Finished Goods storage locations Responsible for Finished Goods Inventory Control needs at any facility needed Required Qualifications of the Inventory Control Clerk: Must have a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and previous experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Access Must possess very good math skills Must be detail oriented, analytical, and work accurately Good oral, writing and communication skills are required Strong interpersonal skills are required Ability to lift 10-65 lbs throughout the shift schedule About Surestaff At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
