Phlebotomist

Join us in our mission to improve lives. Job Summary Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Flemington, NJ. Work schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and rotating Saturdays 6:30am-12:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Conduct administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $17.75 - $28.49 per hour Eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Stock Purchase Plan Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO Equal Opportunity Employer Labcorp is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
