School-Based Social Worker - Hackettstown, New Jersey

This full-time role focuses on providing social work services to a caseload of approximately 35 middle schoolers, utilizing your specialized skills to address their unique needs. Key Qualifications:

• Active Social Worker credentials appropriate for school settings
• Previous experience in a middle school environment required (new graduates will not be considered)
• Demonstrated middle school case management expertise, with ability to manage a caseload efficiently
• Familiarity with the "Real Time Database" system, commonly used in New Jersey schools, is strongly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Excellent problem-solving skills and capacity for discretion, confidentiality, and empathy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and support a caseload of 35 middle school students, ensuring their social, emotional, and behavioral needs are addressed
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized intervention and support plans
• Maintain thorough documentation and case records, including entering data accurately into the "Real Time Database"
• Conduct assessments, provide crisis intervention, and connect students and families with appropriate resources
• Participate in meetings, contribute to eligibility and intervention discussions, and advocate for student needs
