Operating Room Nurse, New Mexico This healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to join their team on a night shift schedule. The role involves coordinating and implementing patient care for surgical patients, ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Nurse will coordinate and implement patient care specific to the surgical patient population served in the Operating Room, ensuring quality care is provided efficiently and safely. The nurse demonstrates performance aligned with the standards of care, mission, and philosophy of the organization while exhibiting effective work habits and clinical practice.
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license; BLS Certification from AHA; ACLS Certification from AHA; at least 2 years of related experience; ability to work nights, 4 days a week, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours weekly; additional clinical experience in the Operating Room preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the Operating Room; professional nursing certification such as CNOR preferred.
• Responsibilities: Obtain and record initial assessment, establish priorities based on patient needs, develop and implement measurable plans of care, perform nursing interventions appropriately, and participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Schedule: Nights, 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours weekly.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit certifications, licensure, and confirmation of experience to be considered for this role.
