Job Description Small Business Administration Small Dollar Specialist – Lead bank contact for SBA industry clients, delivering credit and product solutions across markets. Primary Responsibilities Educate branch and small business associates on the benefits of SBA lending Create strategies to originate SBA Loans with Internal Partners and in the marketplace of $500,000 and less Present the company's loan capabilities and structure SBA loan proposals for SBA Small Dollar Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of SBA policies, structure, product knowledge, and financial analysis Serve as a central point of banker and client contact for potential SBA opportunities Identify and develop relationship strategy for clients Coordinate with internal partners to fulfill the solution agreed to by the client Plan and execute quality client calls Manage transaction processes with support as required This position requires tracking of time for hours worked in excess of 40 per week and is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The position is incentive eligible. Requirements Two (2) years in a client‑facing financial services role High school Diploma or GED Preferences Bachelor's Degree Skills and Competencies Ability to partner with various internal partners and product areas across the firm Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong negotiation skills This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience. Previous SBA experience preferred. Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. Job Range Target Minimum: $70,612.50 USD Median: $89,218.50 USD Incentive Pay Plans This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn commission based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
