Contract | Days | Full-Time | 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients throughout a designated shift, prescribing nursing care consistent with the medical plan of care and input from patients and significant others.
• Collaborate with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary health care team to coordinate and deliver patient care across applicable age groups.
• Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care.
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care delivery to other nursing staff based on their clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
• Document patient care activities accurately using electronic health record systems, including EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire.
• Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia recognition required.
• Active EPIC experience within the last 12 months is required; recent Cerner experience is also required.
• Each work history entry must identify the charting system used.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
