We are seeking a Full-Time and Part-Time Outpatient Licensed Mental Health Clinician & Equine Facilitated Therapist to deliver compassionate, evidence-informed mental health care in a hybrid setting in Cassatt, SC.

Position Summary

The Outpatient Licensed Mental Health Clinician & Equine Facilitated Therapist (LPC, LPCA, LISW-CP) provides high-quality outpatient clinical services to individuals and/or families experiencing mental health challenges. This role combines traditional therapeutic interventions with equine facilitated therapy to support emotional regulation, insight, coping skills, and resilience.

You will partner with clients, caregivers, and the clinical team to assess needs, develop measurable treatment goals, and deliver coordinated care while maintaining strong documentation and ethical clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient assessments and ongoing clinical sessions, including equine facilitated therapy components when indicated by the treatment plan.

• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment goals, progress notes, and discharge planning in alignment with clinical standards.

• Provide a supportive, trauma-informed therapeutic environment, adapting interventions to meet diverse client needs.

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation consistent with applicable regulations and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support continuity of care and treatment effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Current licensure as one of the following: LPC, LPCA, or LISW-CP.

• Experience providing outpatient mental health services and developing treatment plans with measurable goals.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct clinical assessments and provide effective, evidence-informed therapy.

• Strong documentation skills, including completion of clinical notes and treatment updates in a timely manner.

• Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Training or experience in equine facilitated therapy or related experiential/animal -assisted therapeutic modalities.

• Experience working with clients across a range of presenting concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms).

• Experience collaborating with families/caregivers and coordinating care across outpatient services.

• Familiarity with clinical risk assessment and safety planning processes.

• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a clinical team in a hybrid environment.
