Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and empathetic Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging experts. You will engage with cutting-edge ultrasound equipment to conduct diagnostic examinations that contribute to each patient's understanding and well-being. Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Executing diverse ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts
• Prioritizing patient comfort and safety by explaining procedures in a clear and compassionate manner
• Working in close partnership with radiologists and referring clinicians to provide accurate and meaningful diagnostic images
• Maintaining and operating ultrasound equipment, ensuring all machinery is functioning optimally and reporting issues as required
• Meticulously documenting procedures and managing patient records within electronic medical systems
• Keeping abreast of latest developments in sonography techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Possession of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Preference given to candidates who have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Essential Certifications

• Active registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
