Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Summersville, WV. Work Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Phlebotomist may be eligible to participate in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program. Three months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Completion of a training program from an accredited agency. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
