This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting. Candidates must be proficient in caring for ventilated patients and performing continuous IV sedation. The role involves monitoring ICP and administering procedural sedation. Candidates with Level 1 and Level 2 trauma experience are preferred. Weekend coverage is required. Floating to meet facility needs may be necessary. All candidates must comply with the facility's strict dress code regulations. Candidates should be prepared to cover all tattoos and adhere to grooming standards. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. The unit deals with a variety of patient diagnoses, including trauma and surgical conditions. Special procedures performed in the unit include complex wound care, massive transfusions, and CRRT.
