Selector / Equipment Operator
Our client, a leading national foodservice and hospitality supply company, is seeking a Selector / Equipment Operator for its Grove City, Ohio distribution facility. This is a temp-to-hire position on 3rd shift for experienced warehouse professionals with a stable work history. Competitive rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Select, pick, and stage orders accurately and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Operate double-blade electric pallet jacks (ride-on pallet jacks) to transport product throughout the facility.
- Load outbound shipments safely, verifying counts and product condition.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to confirm picks, transfers, and inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all company safety procedures.
- Meet productivity and quality standards on a consistent basis.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous order picking experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Demonstrated experience operating a double-blade electric pallet jack / ride-on pallet jack.
- Previous loading experience.
- Experience using warehouse RF/scanner equipment.
- Steel-toed safety boots.
- Strong, stable, and consistent work history.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High-volume distribution or foodservice/hospitality supply warehouse experience.
- Familiarity with RF-driven inventory and order management systems.
- Track record of reliable attendance and meeting productivity goals.
About the Role:
- Contract duration: Approximately 1,040 total hours (8 hours per day / 40 hours per week), with temp-to-hire potential based on performance and business needs.
- Schedule: 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.
- Location: Grove City, OH 43123 (on-site).
- Travel: None required (0% travel).
- Employment type: Contract / Temp-to-Hire.
