Sr. Maintenance TechnicianThe Industrial Technician III is responsible for coordinating maintenance operations across multiple processing facilities. This position requires extensive expertise in industrial machinery, automation systems, and facility maintenance. The specialist manages complex projects and drives continuous improvement in maintenance practices and equipment performance.Coordinate daily maintenance operations across multiple processing facilitiesPerform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex industrial machinery and systemsDevelop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programsManage capital projects, equipment upgrades, and new installationsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior techniciansAnalyze and optimize equipment performance using advanced diagnostic toolsDevelop and maintain technical documentation for all systems and proceduresCollaborate with management to improve maintenance strategies and reduce downtimeEnsure compliance with safety regulations, food safety standards, and USDA requirementsManage relationships with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance needsLead root cause analysis for critical equipment failures and implement corrective actionsOther duties as assigned4 + years of experience in industrial maintenanceAdvanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsExpertise in PLC programming, automation systems, and industrial softwareStrong project management and team leadership skillsIn-depth understanding of OSHA regulations and food safety standardsHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologiesKnowledge of energy management and sustainability practices in industrial settingsThis position involves hands-on technical work and troubleshooting. The role requires the ability to work in various environments, including production floors, mechanical rooms, and offices. Some travel between facilities may be necessary. The Technician must be comfortable working around heavy machinery, at heights, and in confined spaces. The position may involve on-call duties for emergency situations and requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
