As an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you’ll assess and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, working with a diverse K-12 student population. Your expertise will play a key role in helping students overcome communication challenges, enabling them to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current CCC-SLP (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not mandatory
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results with stakeholders
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support students’ communication needs
