Job Summary

Xray Technologist Nebraska. This acute-care position performs diagnostic imaging, portable radiographs, fluoroscopy, and operating-room C-arm procedures for emergency department and inpatient populations. The role requires trauma expertise, adaptability, strong teamwork, and the ability to rotate between emergency and diagnostic imaging departments.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with trauma experience; Trauma Level I experience; operating-room experience; Certified Radiologic Technologist certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with R registration; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Nebraska licensure; proficiency in trauma imaging, portable X-rays, and C-arm procedures; willingness to float between the emergency and diagnostic imaging departments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Fluoroscopy experience.
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., totaling 36 hours per week; call and holidays are required as scheduled.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include fluoroscopy and diagnostic X-rays for inpatient and emergency department populations, portable X-rays on patient floors, and C-arm procedures in the operating room. The position includes departmental training and orientation, requires a self-starter with strong team skills, and requires adaptability in changing situations. Red attire is required, with facility-provided scrubs available for surgical procedures.
