Hurricane Season: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is an issue, please do not confirm a new or extended assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. No local candidates accepted. If you have prior experience as perm staff or PRN, you must be separated from that system for 1 year before returning. Local rule prioritizes non-local candidates first. The radius rule is 60 miles. Candidates with a pending South Carolina license must provide proof of application or confirm they can complete the walk-through process. Travelers will not be cleared to report until the South Carolina license is issued and active. If a candidate has 7 days or less of non-holiday time off, they can be automatically offered a position. Any candidate with more than 7 days or including holidays will require approval and can delay the process. Only one position submission is allowed at a time. If submitting to multiple job IDs, please indicate the top choice. Attention: All labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of the start or at least 2 weeks before hard document due date. If a candidate has planned vacation during the compliance process, they must complete all labs prior to departure. Modules are considered non-billable, with an average of 4 hours spent. Module hours are included in non-billable hours completed pre-start. Modules will be documented by the facility.
