Electrical Engineer (3+ Years of Experience)

ANS, a leading consulting engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our renewable energy team. What You’ll Do Design and develop electrical systems for solar and battery storage projects Conduct feasibility studies, power system modeling, and electrical calculations Create and review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Ensure designs comply with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NERC standards Stamp engineering drawings (if licensed) Provide mentorship and lead teams (for mid/senior-level candidates) Support construction, commissioning, and site visits Stay current on renewable energy technologies Contribute technical expertise to business development and proposals Must‑Haves Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution FE/EIT certification Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in electrical engineering (including 4+ years of professional experience) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Passion for renewable energy and sustainability Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed Nice‑to‑Haves MS in Electrical Engineering Internship or project experience in power systems or renewables Involvement in student or professional engineering societies Experience with electrical design or consulting Salary $90,000 - $124,575 a year Benefits 401(k) + company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Unlimited PTO Professional development assistance Bonus opportunities Supportive, growth‑oriented team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
