The Assistant Kitchen Manager supports kitchen operations across full-service and quick-service restaurant environments, with a focus on food preparation and production, shift supervision, and staff training. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager and General Manager, this role offers a mix of day and night shifts and strong advancement opportunities toward Kitchen Manager and multi-unit operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen operations and shifts.
• Help schedule and coordinate kitchen staff.
• Prepare and cook food according to operational standards.
• Manage inventory and support supply control.
• Maintain quality assurance and food safety standards.
• Support staff training and development.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry over 50lbs.
• Must be able to work efficiently and hospitably with a team.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience.
• 1+ years of Restaurant experience.
• Good attitude
• Growth mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler certification.
• Food safety management experience or knowledge.
• Team leadership skills.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Time management skills.
