What’s yours?Position OverviewThe Supply Chain Manager is responsible for driving inventory targets at multiple sites as well as on time delivery. The Supply Chain Lead needs to be highly organized and understand the processes that drive a supply chain, as well as production constraints at the manufacturing facilities. Works with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production, and Quality to develop and manage the scheduling process and root cause issue fixes for on time delivery. In addition, this position is expected to make critical decisions based on the best information at hand and take a leadership role in building consensus among several parties, including at times conflict resolution among various functions. One of the key outputs of this role is a daily schedule based on expected delivery dates that identifies the ATB (available to build quantity) based on material shortages. In addition, the weekly Material Review Board process is a critical output that helps to identify and fix material usage variants.What you'll doResponsible for driving inventory reduction to target levels through analysis and collaboration with the planning teamResponsible for material availability for high On Time performanceResponsible for driving on time delivery through analysis and collaboration with production OPS at the Fabrication siteFacilitates weekly Material Review Board processManages recovery and communication related to customer backordersResponsible to participate in cycle count and WIP floor inventory accuracy metricsDevelops standard work training documents, and provides training on systems and supply chain functionsApplies various scheduling concepts (ABC, Kanban, Trigger Points, Min Max, Heijunka, EOQ)Work with material / network planners to synchronize supply with department schedulesAnalyzes production performance to identify opportunities requiring support team focusApplies project management techniques to meet goals and objectives (Scope, Track, Execute)Who you areBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience in planning and supply chain functionsDemonstrated experience tools such as SAP or other ERP systemsExpert in MRP, ERP, and MSOfficeExceptional computer skills; ERP, Business Intelligence systems or equivalent and Word, Excel, PowerPointGood understanding of S&OP processExcellent communication skills to effectively communicate across multiple departments and through multiple levels of the organizationSolid analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capabilitiesDemonstrated influencing, negotiating and conflict management skillsExcellent collaborative management skillsStrong working knowledge of effective supply chain performance including supply planning, customer service, supplier and asset managementStrong passion for creating process and systems improvementCPIM or CSCP certifications from APICSWhat's in it for you?Annual base salary range: $121k-151kBonus target range: 15-20%Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disabilityA company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growthTime off with pay401(k) plan with a degree of employer matchingPaid parental leaveWellness programs and product discountsPlease note, all offers presented to candidates are carefully crafted to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and reflect the individual candidate’s education, experience, skills and potential.Hunter Douglas is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with applicable employment laws.
