Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant provides support to the dentist during patient care and completes the preparation of the room and dental tools/equipment, taking x-rays, assisting cleaning, procedures. The Dental Assistant complete intake paperwork, update patient records, sterilize and organize dental tools, and assist during any dental procedures.

| Full Time: Mon-Fri 8a-5p | Setting: Community health center dental clinic.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent

• Expanded Functions, Radiology and Nitrous Oxide Certification required.

• Current License/Certificate within state of practice

• 4+ years experience as Dental Assistant preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
