Paid certifications including: CDL-A Crane Certification (rigging, signaling, operating) IMSA Maintenance of Traffic Traffic Signal Technician Levels I, II, and III Key Responsibilities Inspect traffic signal installations, modifications, and maintenance work for compliance with plans, specifications, and standards Perform quality control evaluations on signal equipment, wiring, and system functionality Identify deficiencies, document findings, and ensure corrective actions are completed Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and project managers to maintain quality standards Review project plans and provide feedback to ensure constructability and compliance Maintain accurate inspection reports and QC documentation Support testing and commissioning of traffic signal systems Minimum Qualifications Current experience in traffic signal operations, maintenance, or installation Strong knowledge of traffic signal standards, specifications, and safety practices Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics, and technical documents High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities Level 2 IMSA 5+ years in the field Preferred Qualifications Previous inspection or quality control experience Certifications related to traffic signal systems or electrical inspection Familiarity with ITS and advanced signal systems Level 3 IMSA IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Additional Information This position may require field work in varying weather conditions Occasional after-hours or emergency response may be required Physical Demands Must be able to perform multiple tasks and can handle the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50lbs.
