Emergency Room Registered NursePosition: ER RN. Start date: ASAP. Shifts: 4x12 Night. Length: 13 Weeks. First-timers accepted with at least 1 year experience and Epic experience. Weekend requirement: Yes, every other weekend. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC. On-call is not required. Travelers will float between various units within their skill set. Locals are not accepted. Pending license is accepted, but quick starts are preferred. RTO restrictions: None, but preferred to keep it under 7 days. Daily patient volume: About 170 patients. Facility is a level 1 stroke and cardiac center and a level III trauma center, functioning as a level II. Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care. Total Staffed Beds: 325. Charting System: EPIC. Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics. Expected patient ratios: 4 patients per nurse during shifts. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Commitment to working 3 of the 5 major holidays is required. References are required covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly. Background policy: Facility does not accept certain hits.
