Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Dental Imaging Annotation Specialist for an exciting opportunity with one of our Fortune 500 clients. Work Model: Fully Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.). Employment Type: Contract. About the Role We are seeking highly skilled and licensed Dental Doctors (DDS/DMD) with expertise in interpreting dental X-rays to contribute to an advanced AI‑driven healthcare initiative . Selected candidates will annotate dental periapical images to train AI models, supporting clinical decision‑making and diagnostic accuracy. Key Responsibilities Image Annotation Identify tooth regions using polygon tools Classify tooth numbers (1–32 permanent, A–T primary) Indicate presence of furcation and root canal Annotate enamel, dentin, pulp, and caries using polygon tools Mark CEJ (Cementoenamel Junction), ABC (Alveolar Bone Crest), and APEX using point tools Restoration Project Identify restorations (Onlay, Crown, Filling, Bridge, Implant, Root Canal) using polygon tools Maintain annotation accuracy and consistency based on defined standards and examples Collaborate with project leads to meet quality and timeline requirements Ensure confidentiality and compliance while handling sensitive medical data Qualifications Licensed Dental Doctor (DDS/DMD) with hands‑on experience reading and interpreting dental X‑rays Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, pathology, and restorative procedures High attention to detail with excellent visual analysis skills Prior experience with image annotation tools preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment Total Images: ~5,000 periapical images Annotation Scope: Each image annotated across Tooth Analogy, Pathology, and Restoration projects Estimated Time per Image: First 500 images: Up to 20 minutes each Remaining 4,500 images: ~10 minutes each Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Contract Job Function Health Care Provider, Customer Service, and Business Development Industries Hospitals and Health Care, Health and Human Services, and Retail Health and Personal Care Products #J-18808-Ljbffr Avanciers Inc.
