• Engagement: W2 only; no C2C or 1099 arrangements.
• Work model: Hybrid position based in White Plains, New York.
• Gain broad exposure to equities, fixed income products, derivatives, and other financial instruments.
• Work closely with multiple areas of the capital markets organization and external financial institutions.
• Build deeper expertise in trade lifecycle management, settlements, reconciliations, controls, and post-trade operations.
• Contribute to process improvements that strengthen operational accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Own the validation, processing, and settlement of transactions across multiple financial products.
• Monitor trade confirmations, allocations, and settlement status to ensure transactions are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
• Investigate trade breaks, failed settlements, and reconciliation differences, driving issues through resolution.
• Reconcile trade activity against records maintained by custodians, brokers, clearing organizations, and counterparties.
• Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, operations teams, and external parties to resolve exceptions and reduce repeat issues.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and provide documentation for audits, controls testing, compliance reviews, and internal reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate manual processes, and strengthen operational controls.

Do You Bring Proven Success in Trade Processing and Settlements?

• Bring approximately 3–5 years of experience in trade operations, settlements, securities operations, derivatives operations, or a related middle-office function.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including confirmation, allocation, settlement, reconciliation, and exception management.
• Possess working knowledge of equities, fixed income securities, derivatives, or other capital markets products.
• Have experience investigating trade breaks, failed settlements, cash or position discrepancies, and counterparty reconciliation issues.
• Be familiar with financial messaging, clearing, and market platforms such as DTCC, Bloomberg, SWIFT, or comparable systems.
• Demonstrate strong Excel skills and comfort navigating multiple financial systems and data sources.
• Bring excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, brokers, custodians, clearing organizations, and external counterparties.
• Approach operational issues proactively, analytically, and with a strong focus on accuracy and control.
