We are the people behind the people who keep saving lives.The IT Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure and enterprise systems. This role requires a skilled technical professional with hands-on experience in Linux, Windows, Network, Cloud technologies, cybersecurity best practices, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and capable of supporting both day-to-day operations, strategic IT initiatives, service delivery, and maintaining positive client and vendor relationships. Work closely with managed service providers (MSP) to develop and deliver complete Linux, Windows and cloud architecture solutions with ability to resolve complex issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall Linux, Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) technologies in public/private cloud, day-to-day operations including asset inventory, configuration management, security controls, systems health, and third-party infrastructure app integrationsWilling to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulationsWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of positionPerform other responsibilities as assignedAnalyze current business and technology practices, user needs, and workflow processes for improvementWork with MSP on supporting Global ITRepresent the team as a participating member of designated committeesServe as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with Infrastructure systemsParticipate in 24x7 on call rotation and be available for after-hours support as neededParticipate in enterprise disaster recovery exercisesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fieldMinimum 5 years of Linux, Windows and Cloud Systems Engineering work experience with extensive knowledge and familiarity with various Linux distros in Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Alibaba Cloud with DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SFTP, PAM, SMB/NFS FileShare, Postfix, scripting, etc.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
