Job Overview

We are seeking reliable, polite, and dedicated Food Service Workers to join our cafeteria team. In this role, you will assist with meal preparation, serving students and staff, and maintaining a clean, safe dining environment. Because this position is in a school setting, maintaining a respectful, courteous, and student-friendly attitude at all times is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and serving daily school meals.

• Operate cafeteria equipment and maintain high standards of kitchen safety and sanitation.

• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, serving lines, equipment, and dining areas.

• Interact with students, faculty, and visitors in a polite, patient, and respectful manner.

• Follow all safety protocols, school guidelines, and health code regulations.

Must-Have Requirements & Qualifications

• Slip-Resistant Footwear: Non-slip shoes are mandatory for safety in the kitchen and serving areas.

• Background Check: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check prior to employment.

• Drug Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• Professional Conduct: Demonstrated ability to interact respectfully and appropriately with children, school staff, and parents in an educational environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus, but not required.
