General Information:

• Number of Beds: 60
• Number of Staff: 50
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift: 1 Charge nurse per floor, RNs, LVNS, PCTs, and unit secretary when grid allows
• Night Shift: 1 Charge nurse per floor, RNs, LVNS, PCTs
• Patient Ratios: 5:1 (Med Surg Specialty 4th Floor). 6:1 (Med Surg 5th Floor)
• Type of equipment: remote telemetry, capnography, Alaris IV pumps, glucometers, dynamaps EMR Alterra (Allscripts)

• Gastric sleeves, total hip, knee and shoulder replacements
• Ortho trauma repairs (fractures)
• Best personality Fit: Team oriented, positive and flexible.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS, BLS, NIHS

Floating Area(s): Mandatory Float as needed: Inpatient rehab, ED, PCU. Will not be given an assignment outside of skill level or scope.

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Currently wear black scrubs but will be moving to Medical City Blue

Weekends and On call(if any): Weekend shifts are required. No on call. Will push back per the attendance policy.
