Search Engine Optimization Manager

About the Role We're seeking an experienced SEO and AI Search professional to lead initiatives that improve search visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences. This role will partner closely with Marketing, Communications, Product, Engineering, and external vendors to drive organic discovery, AI visibility, and search performance. The ideal candidate combines deep technical SEO expertise with strong analytics, stakeholder management, and AI search optimization experience. Responsibilities Develop and execute enterprise SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies. Improve discoverability across Google Search, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and other AI-powered search platforms. Monitor search performance, AI visibility, citations, and competitive share-of-voice metrics. Conduct technical SEO audits, identify opportunities, and implement optimization recommendations. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve site architecture, structured data, indexing, crawlability, and overall search performance. Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and contractors. Analyze large data sets, identify trends, and present recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support multi-market and international search initiatives. Required Qualifications 5+ years of SEO experience in enterprise, multi-channel, or multi-market environments. Hands-on experience with: Google Search Console Google Analytics (GA4) Ahrefs SEMrush Screaming Frog Conductor, BrightEdge, Profound, seoClarity, Moz, or similar platforms Experience with AEO, GEO, AI Search, AI Visibility, or related search optimization initiatives. Strong understanding of the relationship between SEO and SEM/Paid Media. Experience translating complex performance data into actionable business recommendations. Vendor, agency, or contractor management experience. Strong communication and project management skills. Experience using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or NotebookLM. Preferred Qualifications Corporate communications, public affairs, trust & safety, policy, or reputation management experience. International SEO and localization experience. Experience with AI visibility reporting, LLM citations, entity optimization, and structured data strategies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
