Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 6 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - Cleveland Clinic and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - Cleveland Clinic.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Qualivis Program - Cleveland Clinic and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - Cleveland Clinic.

Additional Details:

1 Reference must be from the most recent place of employment.

Required Skills/Experience: Clinicians must have at least 18 months of permanent full-time staff experience in the specialty applying to prior to having ever traveled. Needs to have experience in Peds, PICU, NICU (high level care level 4).

Special Requests: All RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated during submission and interview. Engagements are limited to 18 consecutive months.

Unit Details: Will work within RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU with pediatric patients.

Shift & Scheduling: 3x12s or 4x12s.

Floating Requirements: May float to Shaker Children’s Rehab, Fairview NICU, Akron NICU, and Hillcrest NICU; 8 or 12 week contract.

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
