Responsibilities A physical therapist will examine a patient and focus on creating a recovery plan. They focus on treatments that reduce the need for surgery and prescriptive drugs. A physical therapist uses a combination of exercises, stretches, hands-on techniques and equipment to restore function or relieve pain. Assess patients and develop individualized rehabilitation plans Implement treatment programs to restore function and relieve pain Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes Qualifications Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of current work experience providing physical therapy South Dakota State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one Certifications This position may require one or more of these certifications: BLS Benefits Insurance — group benefits for Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Short/Long Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, and Identity Theft Protection. 401K — eligible to enroll 1st of the month following hire date.
