Warehouse AssociateWe are looking for an organized and motivated warehouse associate to join our facility. The warehouse associate will be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The warehouse associate will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting quotas, and experienced in inventory software and databases. The warehouse associate may also operate heavy machinery, or drive equipment, so a candidate with experience and a valid driver's license is preferred.Key responsibilities include:Move inventory and materials across facilitiesProcess inventory for deliverySort, organize and store inventory in the proper locationPackage items and label correctlyScan delivered items and ensure qualityReport damaged or missing inventory to supervisorsStack and organize large bulk itemsRemove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper locationUpdate logs and documentation for inventory processingMove materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locationsWear safety gear at all timesOperate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventoryEnsure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aislesPrepare documentation and inventory for auditsComplete any additional tasks as directed by leadership.Required skills/abilities include:High school degree or equivalentLicense or certification as dictated by the state to operate heavy machinery as neededValid driver's licensePhysically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shiftPhysically able to lift up to 50 pounds or moreAble to work in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with inventory software, and able to upload data into the company systemAble to work independentlyPays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventoryHighly organized and able to store items efficientlyMust follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the stateWeekday warehouse scheduling:Monday- Friday, second shift duties10:00AM-6:00PMOn Monday receive unused material from Saturday install crew.Create pick tickets verifying parts neededPick ordersStage items and pallets according to orderPerform review of picked and staged items.Inspect and count items on Return Shelves if neededCycle count daily areaClean area to set standardClose and lock bay doors and door to smoking areaWeekend warehouse scheduling:Tuesday- Saturday, opening duties4:00AM-1:00PMMove install vehicles into loading positionsComplete pick requestsSpot check pick lists for correct partsPick the Material Requests and load onto vehiclesOnly issue tools when proper request form is filled outEnsure that the Material Request form is filled out and signed by Foreman before they depart.Pick service team orders and material requestLoad service vehiclesInspect and count items on Return ShelvesDuring overlap with 2nd shift, pull and stage work ordersClean area before leaving for daySaturday:Move install vehicles into loading positionsComplete pick requestsSpot check pick lists for correct partsPick the Material Requests and load onto vehiclesOnly issue tools when proper request form is filled outEnsure that the Material Request form is filled out and signed by Foreman before they depart.Inspect and count items on Return ShelvesWash / Clean 2 vehiclesContinue revolving cycle count.Keep the warehouse clean.Weekday warehouse scheduling:Tuesday- Saturday, closing duties2:00PM-10:00PMPick ordersStage items and pallets according to orderPerform review of picked and staged items.Inspect and count items on Return Shelves if neededMove install vehicles into loading positionsPick service team orders and material requestComplete pick requestsSpot check pick lists for correct partsInspect and count items on Return ShelvesContinue revolving cycle count.Clean area before leaving for dayClose and lock bay doors and door to smoking areaOther duties as directed by leadershipAs part of our hiring process, we require all potential employees to undergo a drug test.
