Nutritional Service Worker

TITLE: Nutrition Services Worker Contract Length: 153 days Reports to: Director of Nutrition Services Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Clear background checks through submission of fingerprint card to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, FBI and BIS Background Services. Ability to read basic operating instructions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with staff and administration. First Aid and CPR Certification. Duties and Responsibilities Demonstrate acceptable quantity and quality of work (e.g. neatness, thoroughness, accuracy, dependability and promptness) Perform cashiering, inventory, and checking in orders. Arrange for proper storage of food supplies. Maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen. Report immediately to the Director of Nutrition Services any problem or accident which occurs. Perform other reasonable duties as specified and directed by the Director of Nutrition Services. Routine duties assigned which are not covered in this job description are to be documented in a memorandum. Evaluation Nutrition Service Workers are evaluated annually by the Director of Nutrition Services. Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Policies GDO and GDO-R: Evaluation of Classified/Support Staff. Terms of Employment The Certified Nursing Assistant position is an at‑will position. Work Year: August‑July – 153 days per year, 5 hours per day (4‑day week). Salary: Initial placement on the Classified Salary Schedule, column is at the discretion of the Superintendent. Salary is an hourly rate based on placement on the schedule. Up to ten (10) years credit for previous experience in a comparable position may be allowed.
