About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer to lead and enhance its enterprise-wide compliance, regulatory, quality, and risk oversight functions. This executive will be a key partner to senior leadership, responsible for strengthening the systems, standards, and operating discipline that support the organization's mission-driven and highly regulated environment. The role involves leading the overall compliance and oversight strategy, partnering on regulatory risk and compliance priorities, and ensuring alignment with all relevant requirements. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare services, with experience in regulated care settings such as behavioral health, mental health, or home health, and a strong understanding of Medicaid, regulatory oversight, and payer-related compliance. The successful candidate will be expected to have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a multi-location or growth-oriented environment. Key responsibilities include overseeing and improving internal processes related to audit activity, investigations, and reporting, as well as guiding compliance-related communication, education, and training efforts. The Chief Compliance Officer will also be instrumental in driving a proactive, solutions-oriented compliance culture that supports operational excellence and ethical standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to assess risk, and a demonstrated capacity to influence across a complex organization are essential. While a legal background is a plus, it is not required, and the ideal profile for this role is a calm, thoughtful, and highly credible leader with a collaborative and fact-driven approach.
