Qualifications:

• Current and active Special Education (SPED) Certification in Louisiana is required
• Previous experience working with special education populations is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and ability to create and implement individualized instruction plans
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability and organization to balance caseload responsibilities effectively

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs and learning styles
• Develop and monitor IEP goals, documenting progress and maintaining compliance
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and inclusivity
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure students receive appropriate accommodations
• Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required
