This team values individualized care, strong relationships, professional development, and creating a positive experience for both patients and staff.Helena offers an exceptional quality of life with access to hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, and outdoor recreation, all while enjoying a welcoming community and a balanced pace of life.What You Will DoAs a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to help patients progress through customized treatment plans and achieve their rehabilitation goals.Responsibilities IncludeAssist in carrying out individualized treatment programs developed by Physical Therapists.Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercise instruction.Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the care team.Document treatment sessions and patient responses accurately and efficiently.Educate patients on home exercises, wellness strategies, and injury prevention techniques.Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive treatment environment.Collaborate with therapists and other team members to optimize patient outcomes.Stay current with best practices and continue professional development.QualificationsAssociate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program requiredCurrent or eligible PTA licensureStrong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation principlesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build rapport and motivate patientsStrong organizational and documentation skillsPrior outpatient Physical Therapy experience preferred but not requiredPreferred ExperienceExperience working with one or more of the following patient populations is helpful:Orthopedic rehabilitationSports medicineGeriatricsPost-surgical recoveryFunctional movement and mobility programs
