Material HandlerPoly-America, L.P., a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking a Material Handler at its Grand Prairie, Texas location. This role works to secure and transfer finished goods and/or scrapResponsibilities include the following with the possibility of additional duties being assigned as needed:Banding and securing the finished skidsTransporting finished skids to conveyor systemAssist in putting lines back in productionPicking up scrap after lines are put back in productionWhen necessary, acting as a packagerGeneral housekeepingQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:Two years of job related experienceMust successfully complete Poly-America's Industrial Mobile Equipment training and testing program for forkliftsThe ability to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.Successfully passing a drug screen is required for this position.
