Medical Surgical Telemetry Float Pool Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, while floating within the facility as needed. This position involves working with a diverse patient population, particularly adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatment plans as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and behavior.
• Utilize telemetry equipment for continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care and progress using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry nursing.
• ACLS preferred, BLS required.
• Current and valid RN license in hand.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:8.
• Frequent floating within assigned scope as needed.
