Senior Human Resources GeneralistThe Senior Human Resources Generalist is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for providing a wide range of HR support and services to employees and management. This role involves various HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, employee-facing benefits administration, and policy implementation. The HR Generalist plays a critical role in promoting a positive work culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering employee engagement within the organization.Responsibilities include:Establishing and maintaining paid time off policies within HCM and annually load appropriate paid time off for employeesProcessing all Personnel Change Notices (PCN's), maintaining integrity of data within the HCM system; specifically employee information, job descriptions, job titles, compensation ranges, assigning managers, etc.Acting as a resource to employees to handle questions, concerns, or suggestionsActing as point person for all data requests, government survey information, EEO-1 reporting, employment verifications, unemployment claims, etc.Maintaining positive employee relations and advising management of concernsConducting exit interviews, collecting data, communicating results, and making suggestions for improvementMaintaining all emergency response rosters, including evacuation reports and listsResponsible for collecting Compensation Surveys obtaining market data and presenting to Director of HRPreparing and communicating pay adjustments to Payroll including, bereavement, boot allowances, and safety glassesAssisting Director of HR in performance management processAssisting with ongoing and ad-hoc training programs and developmentAssisting Director in developing pre-employment testing and implementationAssisting with Career progression mappingAssisting in maintenance of job description updatesMaintaining Company Organizational chartsAssisting in the Open Enrollment processReconciling uniform billsDriving company wellness initiatives as they relate to employee benefitsInputting monthly training recordsProviding Front Desk coverage as neededOther duties as assignedPrincipal contacts inside/outside the company: This position interacts with all employees in the company.Competency or position requirements:Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities at onceAbility to address situations with good judgment and integrityExcellent task management, prioritization, and organizational skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to build strong business relationshipsHighly skilled with Microsoft ExcelAll Armor employees are expected to demonstrate Armor's core values of being:Customer FocusedPassionate about WorkSolution OrientedDriven by IntegrityEducation and/or experience:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant work experience will be considered.5+ years of experience in a Human Resources department handling a variety of employee concerns, staffing, discipline, and compliance issues is preferredStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.Strong ability using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, etc.)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityEquipment used: This position will use a personal computer, telephone, fax, and copier.Working and physical conditions: This position is in an indoor environment located in HR shop office off of the manufacturing shop floor. It will require some walking and standing to interact with individuals on the shop floor and significant time sitting at desk working on a computer.
