Warehouse Operations Manager

Overview We are hiring a 2nd shift Warehouse Operations Manager (internal title: Logistics Manager) in Whitestown, IN for the Supply Chain Solutions division. Responsibilities Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees under responsibilities, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and expectations and operate the account to meet those demands. Be responsible for the payroll of employees. Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statements to determine account profitability, and provide financial data and weekly operations reports to senior management. Be responsible for accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing. Hold safety and security meetings, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned and be available to work a flexible schedule on various shifts. Qualifications H.S. diploma/GED required Bachelor9s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field required Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports required Excellent knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations (advanced) Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements (advanced) Skills and Abilities Builds and manages effective teams; strong leadership and motivating skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Bilingual ability (English and French) for Quebec locations only Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills within a diverse team Problem solving and analytical abilities; excellent organizational skills Ability to prioritize, structure and schedule tasks to maximize effort and meet deadlines Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word) Compensation and Benefits Pay Type: Exempt / Salary; paid twice per month Annual salary: $80,000 to $90,000, with eligible 10% bonus Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM; additional hours/days as needed Medical, dental, vision benefits; 401(k) with company match; employee stock purchase options; employee discounts Paid holidays and paid time off within the first year; up to 12 weeks paid maternity leave Additional Information DOT Regulated: No EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/Veteran.
