Duration: 21 Weeks
Shift & Schedule:
Day Shift | 40 Hours/Week
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM 

Pay Rate: $24 – $26/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support front and back-office clinical operations, patient care, scheduling, and clinical procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to an externship.

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.

• Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.

• EMR experience.

• Front and back-office clinical experience.

• EKG and Point-of-Care (POC) testing experience.

• BLS or CPR certification.

• Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience.

• Occupational Health experience.

• Experience with vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Support front and back-office clinical operations.

• Greet, room, and assist patients.

• Schedule appointments and answer phones.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs.

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture.

• Administer vaccines as directed.

• Perform EKGs and Point-of-Care testing.

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.

• Provide additional clinical support as needed.

• Maintain a collaborative and professional relationship with center staff.
