CT Technologist ● About Facility: 10628 Park Rd. Charlotte, NC 28210 Total licensed beds are 373 (Acute 29 Inpatient Rehab) ▪ ED = 30 beds ▪ ICU = 46 beds ▪ PCU = 40 beds ▪ Observation = 70 beds ▪ OR Suites = 14 No trauma designation We offer X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine, with Radiology Nursing support. TJC Stroke accredited Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit ● Department Information: Average Inpatient Census is around 400 Average 160 studies per weekday, 120 studies on weekends Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years Will you accept a first-time traveler? yes ● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: ED, Inpatient units, Observation units, and Outpatient Department will provide CT guided invasive procedures. Department performs cases with Anesthesia as needed Department will perform Cardiac CT imaging on day shift, 7 days/week. ● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT. BLS ● Skills required: Start peripheral IV’s Venous and arterial phase scanning Multi-phase scanning Stroke imaging, to include Perfusion Colorectal studies TeraRecon knowledge preferred, not required ● Support within the Department: Guest Services/Trasport for Inpatient Obs patients ● Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC RIS: Epic Radiant PACS: Philips iSite Department specific Equipment: ▪ 3 CT scanners (Siemens Definition AS 40, Siemens Force, Siemens Edge +) ▪ Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors ● Floating: If yes, where? No ● Orientation (facility and unit) : Administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review, etc.) 1 day o 2 days to 1 week departmental orientation days (as needed, to include weekdays even if position granted is a weekend) ● Other notes: Scrub Color: Black Parking: Surface lot and parking decks available at no cost
