Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Blacksburg, VA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Interviews may be virtual. Start late June/early July. Direct access to referring physicians, Monday through Friday, support staff available, and Epic electronic medical record in use.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Virginia Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain state license prior to start.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Outpatient clinical experience required. No new graduates.
Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical records preferred.
Ability to work with direct access referrals and collaborate with referring physicians.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal caseloads.
Proficiency in documentation and productivity expectations in an outpatient setting.

Assignment Details
Start timeframe: late June/early July.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, direct access to referring physicians, support staff provided.
Electronic medical record: Epic.
Interviews may be conducted virtually.
