Key job responsibilities Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber‑optics, and PCBAs Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc) Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures Additional Requirements Willing to work all shifts (days, evenings, staggered shifts) overtime and weekends as needed. Shift time is Wed-Sat 4X10 4pm-2:30am Flexible working/commuting in between site locations Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position Able to lift-up to 25lbs. unassisted Export Control Requirement Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $33.50/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. We are currently in research and development but moving towards production environment. Basic Qualifications High school or equivalent diploma 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches) 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings Preferred Qualifications Experience with environmental testing - vibration, shock, thermal, EMI/EMC, etc. Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license CFOT certification or equivalent experience Airman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience ASE certification or equivalent experience Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements Experience working with Electro‑Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, Fiber Optics/Optical and/or Harness Integration Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high‑paced, challenging work environment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
