Sprinkler Inspector

Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on electrical, sprinkler or suppression life safety product lines, as well as similar competitive manufacturers' product lines. Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of life safety products (and competitive brands). Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices. Complete and archive inspection documentation via laptop. Make minor repairs and programming changes under supervision. Follow a structured inspection schedule and complete assignments on time. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals. Provide excellent customer service and clear communication. Always follow safety guidelines and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 5–10 years minimum documented experience in sprinkler systems. RME-I License (Texas Department of Insurance requirement). Experience with wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge, and foam systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. Skilled with hand tools and multi‑meters. Physical ability to lift/move 50–70 lbs and work in challenging spaces (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, ceilings). Flexibility to work on‑call, nights, weekends, and travel as needed. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Ability to pass background and drug test. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learner. Preferred Qualifications Repair experience. Backflow certification. NICET Level II Certification. Hourly Rate $35–44 per hour, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
