Unit Details

• 16 LDRP rooms
• C-Section Suite and PACU located on the L&D unit
• 4-bed Special Care Nursery
• Closed specialty unit — no floating to units outside the Family Center
• Strong support staff, including preadmission nurse, discharge planner/case worker, maternity navigator, unit educator, and lactation support

Requirements

• L&D experience required
• Mother/Baby experience required
• NC RN licence required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NRP required

Unit Environment

The unit focuses exclusively on maternal and newborn care and emphasizes evidence-based practice, family-centered care, and ongoing process improvement.

Important: Candidates must have both L&D and Mother/Baby experience and hold an active NC RN license .
