Job Description

A Contemporary Mexican Restaurant in The River Oaks, is hiring passionate hospitality professionals for the following positions:

Key Responsibilities:

Servers

• Provide exceptional guest service and create memorable dining experiences.
• Greeting guests warmly and provide knowledgeable explanations of menu items, specials, and beverages.
• Make recommendations based on guest preferences and menu offerings.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them efficiently into the POS system.
• Maintain strong communication with guests, kitchen staff, food runners, and other service team members.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Follow restaurant service standards, food safety procedures, and company policies.

Food Runners

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally.
• Verify food orders for accuracy, presentation, and table numbers before leaving the kitchen.
• Clearly announce dishes when delivering food to guests.
• Communicate effectively with servers, cooks, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist servers with maintaining efficient and positive guest experience.
• Maintain organized and clean food-running stations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant service standards.
• Support the Front of House team wherever needed to ensure excellent service.

What You Bring / Lo Que Tú Aportas

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred — ¡Hablamos tu idioma!
• Passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
• Previous restaurant or full-service dining experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
