Shipping/Receiving Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our inventory—ensuring that incoming shipments are accurate and undamaged, and that outgoing orders are packed efficiently and shipped on time.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Receiving Goods: Unload incoming trucks, inspect shipments for damage, verify contents against packing slips, and log received items into our inventory management system.

• Shipping Orders: Pick, pack, label, and stage outgoing orders securely to prevent transit damage.

• Inventory Control: Maintain an organized warehouse layout. Conduct regular inventory counts (cycle counts) and report any discrepancies immediately.

• Documentation: Prepare shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels) using carrier software (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.).

• Safety & Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, and/or forklifts).
